In short: InnoEx 2027, the innovation and startup forum and exhibition, is listed for Thursday 19 and Friday 20 August 2027 at Thiskyhall Sala in Thủ Thiêm, Ho Chi Minh City; check the date again closer to the event. After two days of pitching and meetings, rest your overloaded mind nearby in Thảo Điền with a float, infrared sauna or cold plunge.
You have given the same five-minute pitch eleven times. You have answered “what is your moat?” in three different ways, swapped cards with people whose names you already forget, and spent every coffee break checking messages from your team back home. On paper you have been sitting down most of the day. So why does your head feel like a browser with forty tabs open? This guide is for founders, investors and corporate innovation teams heading to InnoEx 2027: what the event is, how to get through two intense days, and how to give your brain a real break afterwards, close to the venue.

Thủ Thiêm sits on the east bank of the Saigon River, facing the old city centre, and Thảo Điền is close by on the same side of the river. That makes a short evening trip easy, unlike fairs at SECC in District 7. For other big dates in the city, see our calendar of major events in Ho Chi Minh City.
Why two days of pitching leave your brain tired
A startup event is a strange kind of work. Your body barely moves, but your attention never rests. Every conversation is a small test: read the person, adapt the story, remember the numbers, sound sure without sounding pushy. Investors run the same loop from the other side, hearing pitch after pitch and trying to keep each one clear. Add bright stage lights, loud halls and constant phone checks, and by Friday afternoon many people feel wired and tired at the same time.
That feeling is normal after a dense run of meetings. What usually helps is simple: less input for a while. Fewer screens, fewer voices, fewer decisions. A quiet evening does more for your next week than one more networking drink.
- Book your meetings with 10-minute gaps, so you can write notes while they are fresh.
- Step outside the hall once in the morning and once in the afternoon, even for five minutes.
- Drink water, not only coffee, and eat a proper lunch away from your laptop.

Turn the noise down in Thảo Điền
Float therapy is the most direct way we know to cut the input. You lie back in about 25 cm of warm water with dense, mineral-rich Epsom salt, so your body floats on its own. The water is about 33–34 °C, close to skin temperature, and you can float with the lights off and in silence. No phone, no pitch deck, no one to impress. The room is private, with its own shower, and you need no swimsuit. Many guests say their head goes quiet and their shoulders drop right after the session. New to it? Read what float therapy is.
Ōmni Evidence Scale: Strong evidence, for float and stress. Several trials point the same way. We rate it Strong because, on top of these trials, user experience is overwhelmingly positive: in a 2025 survey of regular floaters, 92% reported relaxation and 77% less stress, echoed by thousands of reviews, Reddit threads and forums, and by athletes and public figures who float. See how we rate evidence on the Ōmni Evidence Scale.

Prefer to stay dry? Ōmni also offers Guided Brainwaves, a light-and-sound session (audio-visual entrainment). And if the tiredness you carry is older than this one event, our burnout recovery plan looks at the longer picture.
Heat and cold with your co-founders
Want something that wakes you up instead? Try our infrared sauna with red light (45–55 °C) and cold plunge (7–12 °C). Warm up, cool down, rest, and repeat once or twice; our contrast therapy guide explains the rounds. A sauna or cold plunge on its own is 450,000 VND, or 200,000 VND extra when you add it to a float.
Came as a founding team? Book the whole sauna and cold plunge room for 60 minutes for 900,000 VND, for up to 4 people. It is a good place to go over what you heard, without slides. For the cold plunge, bring your own swimwear, as the counter does not lend it; the sauna and the float need none.

Thảo Điền is a leafy riverside neighbourhood full of cafés and small restaurants, good for a calm follow-up coffee with a new contact; see things to do in Thảo Điền. August is still the rainy season, with afternoon showers on many days, so book your rides early; our rainy day guide explains the rhythm. Flying out late? Ōmni keeps up to 4 suitcases while you float; see the last-day guide for late-night flights.

When and where is InnoEx 2027?
The official website shows 19–20 August 2027 at Thiskyhall Sala in Thủ Thiêm, Ho Chi Minh City. Much of the site still shows the 2026 programme, so check the date and agenda with the organiser closer to the event.
Is Thủ Thiêm close to Thảo Điền?
Yes. Both are on the east bank of the Saigon River, so a Grab ride between them is short compared with a trip across the city. Check the live time in the app, as traffic and rain change it.
What helps after two days of pitching?
Less input: fewer screens, voices and decisions for a while. A float gives you exactly that, in warm, quiet water. Float therapy for stress is rated Strong on the Ōmni Evidence Scale.
Can our founding team use the sauna together?
Yes. You can book the whole sauna and cold plunge room for 60 minutes for up to 4 people (900,000 VND). Bring swimwear for the cold plunge; the sauna needs none.
