Someone Gave You a Float. Here’s What Happens Next

In short: someone gave you a float at Ōmni Space in Thảo Điền, Saigon: an hour or more of deep rest in your own private room. Pick a time on our booking page and, if your card has a code, enter it there, or simply message the team. Allow about two hours, bring nothing, and no swimsuit is needed.

So there is a card in your hand and a friend smiling a little too knowingly: “Trust me, you’ll love it.” Maybe you have never floated before. Maybe you have heard of it and quietly wondered what it is actually like. Either way, here is the whole visit, step by step, so the only thing left for you to do is choose a day.

1. Pick your day (it takes two minutes)

Open our booking page, choose a float and a time that suits you, and, if your card has a code, type it into the box marked “Discount, gift or package code”. Rather talk to a person? Message the team on Zalo or call 0326 896 369, and we will book it with you.

Ōmni is open 9:00–21:00 every day, and the last float starts at 8 pm. Pick a day when nothing is waiting for you afterwards.

2. Arrive at 16C Quốc Hương

Ōmni Space sits at 16C Quốc Hương in Thảo Điền. At reception you get your towel and a short one-to-one briefing: how to lie back, how the lights work, where the neck pillow is. Bring nothing at all. Towels, earplugs, shampoo and a hairdryer are all here.

3. A room that is all yours

Every float happens in your own private room with its own shower, and the door opens whenever you like. No swimsuit needed. Rinse off, pop in the earplugs, and step into warm water about 25 cm deep, close to skin temperature and full of dense, mineral-rich Epsom salt. The salt holds you up, so you float without trying, even if you cannot swim. You decide the light: leave it on for a while, then switch it off when you are ready. Curious about the why? 4. Inside those 60–90 minutes

There is no wrong way to float. Fidget, think, doze off for a moment: the water keeps you up. Most floats drift through four gentle stages:

  • Settling in (first 10 minutes): your body gets used to being held by the water. Many people are surprised by how light their legs feel.
  • The body goes still (10–15 minutes): you lie still, as if suspended in mid-air, and the edges of your body seem to soften away.
  • Thoughts settle (20–40 minutes): thoughts come up, then quiet down, until a deep stillness is left. Every float is different.
  • Coming back (from 45 minutes): body and mind feel rebalanced. Your sense of time has almost gone by now, and many people step out thinking only 15–20 minutes have passed.

5. Afterwards, take your time

Shower, dry your hair, then settle into the warm orange lounge for a while before you head back into the city. No rush: let the calm stay a little longer.

Good to know about your gift card

  • The right session for your card: tell the team what card you have and we will suggest the float that fits its value, 60 or 90 minutes.
  • Want to bring someone you love? The couple room has one wide square pool for two. Your partner, a parent or a friend joins you for 700,000₫ more.
  • Can’t use it? Pass it on. Gift cards can be given again, so it can still become someone’s quiet hour.
  • A few practical tips (eating, caffeine, what to skip on the day) are on our before your first float page.

Send a little thank-you

After your float, a short message back makes the gift complete. Borrow one of these:

Just floated. I think I forgot my phone existed for an hour. Thank you, truly.

You were right. Best quiet hour I’ve had all year. Next time we go together.
